The Diabetes Foundation of Guam was formed to address the ever increasing numbers of those in our island diagnosed with diabetes and other chronic illnesses. Our mission and purpose is to provide education, training, and support to those living with diabetes and other chronic conditions, as well as to those who care for them.

Pacific Islander culture is rooted in customary beliefs, social and religious traditions which are passed down from generation to generation. Along with traditions, generations inherit the risk of chronic disease.

    Our program's Community Health Workers are fully trained and certified as Pacific Diabetes Care Education Specialists and can help you manage your diabetes through our customized program.

    Our volunteers are experienced health professionals who are here to provide information and guidance on other chronic conditions such as heart disease.
